I’m Caitlin Dube- a lifelong educator, CPS parent, and proven leader- and I’m running for School Committee because I know that we can create the best public school system in the world, right here in Cambridge.

As the only candidate in the race who does this for a living, I know how to bring educational excellence, transformative ideas, and community care together to create the best public school system in the world.

I’m a teacher, a leader, and a collaborator with a vision and expertise and I care deeply about our community. This is our moment to lead the way.

Here’s what I believe in:

Learning That Comes Alive: Create innovative spaces and experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration—preparing students not just for tests, but for lives of purpose and impact.

Educators Who Thrive: Invest in educators by providing the support necessary to attract and retain the world's most passionate teachers.

Family and Community Partnership: Engage families as co-creators of strong schools and thriving communities.

Brave, Accountable Leadership: Ensure transparent decision-making, clear communication, and responsive governance that puts students and families first.

The foundation of joyful, just, and excellent public education—and the path to the best schools in the world.

Teacher. Listener. Leader. Strategist.

As an expert educator, mom, and deeply engaged Cambridge community member, education isn't just my passion—it's my daily work and life's calling.

Educator. Leader. Future Builder.

I’m Caitlin Dube — a professional educator, strategist, community advocate, and proud Cambridge parent. I’m running for School Committee to help build the best school district in the world, where every student has the opportunity to flourish, no matter what.

A graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education, Columbia University, and Harvard College, I’m a nationally recognized innovative school designer, strategic planning facilitator, and transformative education expert. My life’s work is turning bold ideas into real change — from creating STEAM schools and developing project‑based learning curriculum to designing social‑emotional frameworks that nurture the whole child. I’ve led cross‑sector initiatives, built equity‑focused leadership programs, and partnered with school districts and nonprofits to strengthen systems, improve outcomes, and expand opportunities for students and educators.

I’ve partnered with Cambridge Public Schools, the Cambridge YWCA, Lynn Public Schools, Boston Public Schools, Brookline Public Schools, the National Medal of Honor Foundation, and many more to bring excellence and equity to life in classrooms and communities.

You may know me as Ramona’s mom, but in Cambridge, I also serve as Co‑Chair of the Baldwin School Council and as a Commissioner on the Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women. I’ve partnered with Cambridge Public Schools on curriculum innovation, leadership training for high school athletes, and transformative professional learning for educators. Together with community partners at the Cambridge YWCA, I founded the no‑cost Gamechangers and Changemakers programs for Cambridge youth, and you are also likely to see me cheering on the softball field or soccer sidelines.

The best schools do more than teach — they inspire curiosity, nurture confidence, and prepare students to lead meaningful lives.

I’m excited to bring my expertise to the School Committee- and I’d be honored to earn your #1 vote.

I’ve spent my career working with amazing partners to implement the best eduactional experiences imaginable, and I know Cambridge can be a model for joyful, just, and excellent schools everywhere.

I bring over two decades of experience at the intersection of education, innovation, and public leadership, and I’ve been proudly serving Cambridge for years.
